The Academic Program

Each fellow follows a program of study tailored to his or her interests under the guidance of the program's director and a faculty advisor. During the three quarters of the academic year, the fellow must complete a minimum of nine courses, taken on a pass/no pass basis. Fellows may choose among

GLI Classes
English for Professionals, Business Communications, and U.S. Government & Policy are classes specifically designed to perfect the fellow's verbal and written English skills, and knowledge of the U.S. Government systems.

Independent Research
Fellows may engage in independent research on topics that relate to their sponsoring organizations, under the supervision of a faculty member.
