Message from the President
Dear Fellow IR/PSers,
Since graduating from IR/PS in 1991, my career has covered high-tech business, entrepreneurship, and emerging-markets consulting. Through it all, my time at IR/PS has become increasingly relevant. In this new role as board president, I'm grateful to be following Anne Craib '93, our outgoing president. With the support of the entire board and IR/PS staff, I hope to further the great work that Anne has led for the last two years. Our goal is to increase Alumni impact on the school and broaden the types of benefits we all receive as part of the IR/PS Alumni community.
Toward those ends, the board will focus association efforts in the coming 24 months on the following areas:
- Recognition and Visibility of the School
- Support of Fund Raising
- Quality of Incoming Students
We are all here for you and we all look forward to this 2011-12 year where IR/PS welcomes 135 new MPIA students and the second MAS-IA class of 25 students. As the student profile grows, the faculty expands and the private support of the program increases, so does the value of your degree. Stay tuned for our updates and event announcements throughout the year.
