Aaron Weiss
MPIA '09
Aaron Weiss is an illicit finance intelligence analyst at U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, where he supports investigation into financial crime and corruption.
Aaron is driven by a powerful interest in the economic and political dynamics of the East Asia region, where he has worked and spent several years studying the Chinese language. He came to IR/PS for its strong quantitative curriculum, focusing his studies in both advanced econometric analysis and international political theory. His research has focused on policy impact analysis of Chinese government programs. Most recently, Aaron was able to leverage his quantitative skills while spending six months at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, where he served as a research associate with the Foreign Commercial Service.
Aaron is a graduate of Pomona College, where he majored in economics, politics, and philosophy. He graduated from IR/PS with a career focus in international economics and a China regional focus.
