Abigail Aronofsky
MPIA '11
Abigail Aronfsky is an Outbound Writer at the Barack Obama Presidential Campaign in Chicago.
At IR/PS, she studied international politics and Latin America. She served as the editor in chief of the Journal of International Policy Solutions, a student-run academic publication focusing on global issues, and was the vice president of internal affairs for the Pacific and International Affairs Student Organization (PIASO). For PIASO, she ensured that the IR/PS student government remained organized and responsive to student needs.
During her summer internship, Abigail worked for the U.S. Commercial Service of the Department of Commerce in San Diego. She shadowed International Trade Specialists, supported the activities of the National Export Initiative, wrote for the Export.gov website, and helped develop export strategies for marine and clean technology businesses in the San Diego area.
Prior to attending IR/PS, Abigail attended New York University, graduating with an undergraduate degree in journalism and mass communications. She has worked in the magazine publishing industry as an editor and writer.
Abigail graduated from IR/PS with a career track in international politics and a Latin America regional focus. She was also a Dean's Fellow.
