Fatima Frank

MPIA '11

Fatima Frank currently works as an evaluation/special project manager at evalû, a consulting firm founded by IR/PS alumni. At evalû, her responsibilities include overseeing international evaluation projects, survey design, and liaising with clients.

Fatima is an Indonesian-American who developed a passion for international relations from her experiences living and traveling extensively in Asia. Prior to coming to IR/PS, Fatima was a non-profit development and fundraising professional in the D.C. metro area, working for such organizations as Conservation International and the National Childhood Cancer Foundation. She was a 2005 magna cum laude graduate of Virginia Tech, where she majored in international studies and minored in economics. 

At IR/PS, Fatima focused her studies on sustainable development and global strategies for business expansion and economic development in emerging economies. She was the co-president of the South East Asia Link (SEAL) student group, and was selected to be a Dean's Fellow.

Fatima worked at the Trade and Investment Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific for her internship, where she researched various carbon markets and evaluated the feasibility, challenges, and implications for an emissions trading scheme in the Asia Pacific region. 

Fatima graduated from IR/PS in 2011 with a career track in international economics and a regional focus in Southeast Asia.
