Hayato Urabe

Hayato Urabe is a global corporate venture associate at ICS in San Jose, California.
At IR/PS, Hayato studied international management and international politics, with a focus on international scientific collaboration. Prior to IR/PS, he conducted research in biomedical engineering, focusing on optical-neural interface and nanochemistry, a highly interdisciplinary field involving multiple universities and multiple fields of study. By combining his knowledge of science and policy, he strives to build innovation-driven technological collaboration between Japan and partnering countries in the Asia-Pacific.
Hayato's IR/PS regional focus was Japan and he was a Dean's Fellow.
