Elisabeth Best

Elisabeth Best is a senior analyst in Qualcomm's International Government Affairs department in San Diego, where she tracks and analyzes development in international privacy and sustainability public policy. She served as an intern with Qualcomm while she was a student at IR/PS.

Elisabeth started her undergraduate career at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., but opted for Southern California after a summer abroad in Israel and Costa Rica. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in global studies and a minor in professional editing. She worked in social media marketing and solutions-oriented public policy journalism in Santa Barbara before coming to IR/PS. 

At IR/PS, Elisabeth served as the editor in chief of the Journal of International Policy Solutions, vice president of social media for Pacific International Affairs Student Organization (PIASO), and was selected to be a Dean's Fellow. Her career tracks were international economics and public policy, and her regional focus was Latin America.
