Chris Pesenti
MPIA '01
With a passion for environmental advocacy and Baja California, Chris came to IR/PS to study international development and environmental policy. Prior to IR/PS, Chris had focused his studies on international affairs with a focus on Latin America at CU Boulder. After graduating from IR/PS, Chris put his coursework into practice by co-founding the nonprofit organization Pro-Peninsula, where he helped establish and strengthen environmental organizations throughout the Baja California peninsula.
He is now focused on socio-economic development, and has launched the RED Sustainable Tourism program, which focuses on incubating small community enterprises in northwest Mexico.
