Melanie McCutchan
MPIA '09
Melanie McCutchan is currently a senior analyst at the California Center for Sustainable Energy, a nonprofit organization based in San Diego, CA. She performs market analysis that informs strategic clean energy decisions by policy makers, public agencies, and businesses. Her IR/PS master's degree in international business and environmental policy built on her prior experience in clean energy policy and business development, and has prepared her well to navigate dynamic clean energy markets and policy.
A native San Diegan, Melanie graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a dual degree in economics and environmental sciences. She enjoys traveling abroad and has served as an international election observer. A surfer and outdoor enthusiast, Melanie spends much of her free time enjoying San Diego’s natural beauty.
