Todd Crescenzo

Todd currently works at LM Capital Group in San Diego where he is responsible for credit research across the emerging market, investment grade corporate, and high yield debt markets. LM Capital Group is an institutional investment advisor focused on global fixed income markets that believes the world's capital markets are interrelated and interdependent. Political and social events play as significant a role in financial markets as economic factors, and the firm deploys a Global Scenario Planning approach to bring focus to these events. Global Scenario Planning is a structured, team-based methodology that helps identify the most-attractive environments for investment and serves as a risk-management tool for the client’s portfolios.The firm currently has $4billion in assets under management.
Prior to working at LM Capital Group, Todd worked on the structuring and trading desk at RBS Sempra Commodities. Prior to Sempra, he was a research analyst and assistant portfolio manager with Advisors Asset Management, and an associate in Credit Suisse’s Emerging Markets Group.
Todd is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFAi). He received an undergraduate degree in industrial relations from the University of North Carolina.
IR/PS helped Todd develop the necessary quantitative and qualitative skills to work in investment management. Classes like Applied Financial Management, Corporate Finance, and Managerial Economics helped Todd on the quantitative and disciplined side of the investment management business, while classes like PMP and Business Strategy have proven invaluable in understanding the qualitative complexities today’s global financial institutions exhibit.
