Veronica Valdez

Veronica Valdez is a special assistant at the U.S. Department of the Navy in Washington, D.C. Prior to her current position, she was a program associate at the New America Foundation, and a research analyst at Citi.
Veronica is interested in poverty alleviation, equality, and environmental sustainability in China and Southeast Asia. She studied abroad at Peking University and worked at the Aspen Institute in 2006, and graduated magna cum laude from the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University.
Veronica graduated from IR/PS with a career focus in international development and nonprofit management, and a China regional focus.
