Yuichiro Kawai

Yuichiro Kawai is currently a consultant at Accenture Japan Ltd, based in Tokyo, Japan. Previously, he was in Shinnittesu Solutions' Sales/ IT Consulting division.
Yuichiro graduated from IR/PS in 2008. His interests include the comparative analysis of management systems and creative environments which nurture emerging companies, with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific.
Yuichiro graduated from Keio University with a BA in economics, then came to IR/PS to gain firsthand knowledge of the economic situation in the United States. At IR/PS, he focused on international management and China, emphasizing international business strategies. Yuichiro was also president of Asameshikai, an organization of IR/PS students and professionals who share a keen interest in Japan's culture, language, politics, and economy.
He has three years of experience working for a Japanese LDP upper house member as a personal assistant, and worked at the Japan Society of San Diego and in Tijuana during the summer of 2007.
