Volunteer Opportunities

Alumni Mentor Program

This formalized program provides students with one-on-one alumni mentoring, starting in Winter Quarter, for an ongoing professional relationship.

Alumni Career Talks

Throughout the year, many alumni come back to campus to share their expertise with current students and reconnect with staff and faculty. Think about a stopover in San Diego and a visit to IR/PS on campus when you are planning your next trip.

Quarterly Connections

The Career Services team will encourage you to come home by providing a small "stipend" to your travel costs. Every year the current students look forward to interacting with 15-20 alumni with a variety of professional experiences at each Quarterly Connections panel and networking dinner.

Virtual Campus

The University of California - San Diego Virtual Campus is the direct, online channel for companies and alumni to connect and interact with UC San Diego students, all from their desktop, through online meetings and online chats.

Contact Nurit Mandel for more information on these opportunities.
