Student Health Services Center
Comprehensive primary health care is provided without charge or at low cost during the academic year for all students who have paid registration fees. The Student Health Service is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Students are encouraged to seek advice on any health problem. Professional and confidential attention is assured.

Eligibility for health insurance coverage begins on the first day of new student orientation and extends through the summer after graduation. This applies only to those who remain continuously enrolled for the duration of the program.
Back to topCounseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
Staff consisting of counseling and clinical psychologists, a social worker, and a consulting psychiatrist provide assistance to students who may be experiencing academic, psychological, marital, family, or vocational problems. Individual and group counseling, psychotherapy, marriage or relationship counseling, family therapy, interpersonal, dynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and hypnotic techniques are available. Groups focusing on issues such as stress management, test taking anxiety, sexuality, procrastination, ethnicity, assertiveness, and social skills building are formed throughout the year. A variety of support groups designed specifically for graduate students is also offered and announced quarterly.
All services, with the exception of specialized testing, are available at no charge to students who have paid their Student Registration Fee. Services are offered at all six undergraduate college locations as well as at the central office. Confidentiality is assured. The central office is located at 190 Galbraith Hall.
