Jordan Wilson received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, New Jersey. His work experience prior to graduate school included several customer service positions, internships at two law firms, and work as an English teacher in several elementary schools in Hualien County, Taiwan.
Jordan recently interned with the U.S. Department of Defense at United States Southern Command in Miami, Florida, where he gained valuable insight into security-related aspects of U.S. foreign policy and the interagency workings of the federal government.
At IR/PS, Jordan serves on the leadership team for the Political Analysis and Strategy Simulations student organization, developing and hosting political crisis simulations that build students' analytic, strategic, and negotiating skills. He is specializing in international politics with a regional focus on China, and is particularly interested in analyzing China's foreign policy goals and examining the successful building of U.S. foreign relations in the Pacific region.
