Dechawuthi “Jeff” Dispanurat received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, where he also focused on International Relations & Global Business. Before coming to IR/PS, Jeff worked as a management consultant for a mid- sized financial advisory firm and later as a risk analyst/corporate underwriter in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This past summer, Jeff interned for TorreyCove Capital Partners, a private equity advisory & asset management firm located in La Jolla, CA. He helps support senior managers in the research team with the firm’s due diligence process on both prospective & current fund managers and conducts research on the Pan-Asian investment climate. Concurrently, Jeff’s additional responsibilities include covering and expanding the firm’s investment-theme funnel regarding the Health Care & Mining/Precious Metals industry. 

At IR/PS, Jeff serves as the vice president of Finance for the student body government (PIASO), participates in the IR/PS student-to-student mentorship program, and is also a teaching assistant for Quantitative Methods, a required introduction to statistics course for first year IR/PS graduate students. Jeff plans to finish his studies at IR/PS in International Economics and International Management and would like to combine his education, experience, and expertise to build a career in the private equity or investment management industry.
