Marla Goodman

Marla Goodman graduated cum laude from the UCLA honors program with a degree in history. She lived in Shanghai for two years prior to coming to IR/PS, where she studied Mandarin and completed an internship focused on sustainable development with Cisco Systems. For her graduate summer internship, Marla worked with the GreenAsia Group, an environmental consulting firm in Singapore.
At IR/PS Marla serves as the chair of events for Net Impact, and as the IR/PS podcast co-coordinator. She is a Women of Wind scholarship recipient and an EmPac Summer Fellow. She is also the first-prize Graduate Research Award recipient of the SustainUS Citizen science paper competition, and presented her paper at the October 2012 United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity in Hyderabad, India.
Marla plans to promote sustainable environmental development and corporate social responsibility in the private sector.
