If you plan to apply for any consulting jobs, you need to know how to interview using the case interview method. We have a workshop coming up to prepare you for this!
Case interview preparation is a key component for students interested in careers beyond academia and in business. While case interviews were first used in the consulting field, they have also become more common in finance, marketing, operations and supply chain management.
A case interview is an interviewing method used to assess a candidate’s problem solving abilities. A job candidate is typically provided with a scenario and asked to provide a solution or recommendation.
In most cases, there is no one right answer. It is a student’s thought process that is tested. The approach for a case interview is quite different from a traditional or behavioral interview and requires specialized resources, which can be attained through case interview experts.
