Morning Edition, April 20, 2009 · U.S. officials are calling this weekend's "Summit of the Americas" a success, even though it didn't produce unanimous agreement on a hemispheric action plan. President Obama used the meeting to establish new relationships with many leaders from Central and South America — including some who are historically hostile to the U.S.
