Professor Peter Gourevitch Hosts Show on Presidential Elections
UCSD-TV's "The Body Politic" series airs interviews on current events

IR/PS Professor of Political Science Peter Gourevitch is the host of the UCSD-TV interview series, The Body Politic, where he interviews experts on the issues creating local, national, and international news. The long running show is the creation of Shannon Bradley, UCSD-TV Senior Producer for Public Affairs. Featuring many hosts over the years, Peter marks his return as show host with a series of interviews on the upcoming presidential election. Peter is enthusiastic about his return, remarking that he enjoys showcasing our faculty members' expertise on so many issues.
The latest episodes "The Body Politic: Closing Days of Campaign '08" and "The Body Politic: Judging the Candidates" feature guests including Keith Poole, Professor of Political Science, and Barry Naughton, Professor of Chinese Economy, speaking with Peter and others on topics concerning the 2008 Presidential Elections. The series will continue with an election theme through a post-election follow-up show in November.
