Two New Fellowships on the Political Economy of Korea
Post-Doctoral and Visiting Scholar Fellowships available

With generous support from the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS), the Korea-Pacific Program (KPP) at the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IR/PS), University of California, San Diego is pleased to announce two new fellowship opportunities:
The AKS-KPP Visiting Scholar program provides up to $75,000 in support of senior scholars.
The AKS-KPP Post-Doctoral Fellowship provides $50,000 for junior scholars, including those who will complete their PhD degree before July 1 2008 or who are currently untenured.
Both of these fellowships are designed to support scholars completing book manuscripts on the political economy of Korea in the postwar period. The fellowships are open to scholars of all nationalities, and in all of the social sciences including political science, economics, sociology, and anthropology as well as history. Deadline for submission of applications is March 15, 2008.
