Spring Alumni Connections Event Sparks New Networks

Each quarter the IR/PS Career Services department hosts a panel and networking dinner for the IR/PS community. Alumni from across the nation fly back to San Diego to share valuable career advice and insights, this year with both current and prospective students.
The 2007 Spring Connections boasted the highest attendance to date for our quarterly Connections events. With over 20 alumni and 80 students attending the event, it was truly a chance to spring into action, and the networking sparks flew!
One student commented, “I made great connections with alumni, and feel this event is beneficial for all involved. I think it should definitely be continued for each and every quarter. It was nice to see older alumni also. Thank you especially for facilitating the two alumni from the IDB and World Bank….”
