IR/PS professors Edmund Malesky, Stephan Haggard, Miles Kahler, Barbara Walter, Susan Shirk and Ellis Krauss, each an authority on the politics and culture of different countries in East and Southeast Asia provided briefings at Camp Pendleton last week to a group of Marine officers and sernior enlisted personnel preparing to depart for duty in the area. The briefings were arranged by the Global Leadership Institute (GLI) at IR/PS.
