Privacy Expert Calls for Action on Specter-Leahy Bill

As reported previously by SearchStorage.com, a Senate panel approved a bill last week, known as The Personal Data Privacy and Security Act, or the Specter-Leahy Act, concerning data-breach notification. If the bill becomes law, it would require any company holding personal data on more than 10,000 Americans to implement privacy and security policies.
