Guggenheim Fellows Include a UCSD Professor

LA JOLLA – A University of California San Diego political science professor has been awarded a Guggenheim fellowship.
Peter Gourevitch, the founding dean of UCSD's Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies, will use his grant to research financial institutions and corporate governance.
Gourevitch is one of 186 recipients in the United States and Canada this year. The fellowships range from six months to a year and the average award was $38,000.
