Stephan Haggard is among several well-established intellectuals from finance, economics, political science, sociology, psychology and other departments in top universities, international organizations and think-tanks who will be speaking on global risk.
The Lauder Institute at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania will host a two-day conference April 7-8, 2011 entitled, "Global Risk: New Perspectives and Opportunities." The conference will bring together highly respected scholars from around the world and across disciplines to examine and analyze the problems stemming from the global financial crisis and opportunities inherent in a recovering global economy. Other sponsors for the Globalization TrendLab 2011 conference, which will take place on the University of Pennsylvania campus, include Penn Lauder CIBER and Santander Universities.
