"If we're attacked, hit the floor immediately and feel yourself for wet spots. If you feel a wet spot, call out for a medic--you're wounded! If I don't answer, I'm unconscious or dead. In that case, this is the medical kit. Here are the tourniquets and the morphine kits--if you're in pain, inject the morphine yourself and don't panic. Wait for a rescue vehicle and stay down because we could take fire from any direction. You got that?" I got it. I was not in Kansas anymore-- or even Kuala Lumpur. I was in Iraq.
