Peter Cowhey Comments on La Jolla Music Society Event

It’s not all work this week for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, here for the 9th Circuit Judicial Conference. Ginsburg was in the audience Wednesday night at a La Jolla Music Society concert, and a dinner guest at the home of federal appeals court judge Margaret McKeown and UCSD dean Peter Cowhey. The dinner conversation centered on music, travel and the arts, says Cowhey. “No shop talk.” The guest list included Ginsburg’s Cornell University classmates Joan and Irwin Jacobs. She and Joan were freshmen dormies together at Cornell in the 1950s.
