IR/PS Professor Miles Kahler Awarded Woodrow Wilson Fellowship
The Woodrow Wilson Center Announces 2012 – 2013 Fellowship Class

IR/PS Professor Miles Kahler was awarded one of 21 fellowships at the Woodrow Wilson Center. He will be pursuing a project entitled "A Reordered World: Emerging Economies and Global Governance."
“The Wilson Center brings together thinkers and doers – policymakers, scholars and business leaders – in a safe political space for informed, open, and civil discussion about the tough issues we face,” said Harman. “Wilson Center scholars are the backbone of the institution – and their diversity adds immensely to the richness of thought and dialogue. We are proud to have such a distinguished group of women and men joining us this fall.”

Miles Kahler is Rohr Professor of Pacific International Relations at IR/PS and Distinguished Professor of Political Science at UC San Diego. His principal areas of research are international relations and international political economy, particularly international institutions and global governance, Asian regional institutions, the evolution of the nation-state, and the political economy of international finance.
