Core and Capstone Course Requirement

Core courses must be completed in the first fall quarter:
IRCO 401 - Managerial Economics
IRCO 481 - Politics of International and National Policymaking

The capstone course is taken in in the final spring quarter:
IRCO 484 - Environmental Policy Design & Sustainable Decision Making

Regional Electives Requirement

Two courses focusing on one or more of the IR/PS regions China, Japan, Korea, or Southeast Asia must be completed.
At least one of these courses must be selected from the following list:
IRGN 467 - Chinese Environmental and Energy Policy
IRGN 472 - Latin American Environmental and Energy Policy

The second regional elective may be chosen from courses focusing on any one of the IR/PS regions: China, Japan, Korea, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

Career Track Requirement

The following three courses are required:
IRGN 458 - International Environmental Policy and Politics
IRGN 488 - Environmental and Regulatory Economics
IRGN 453 - Sustainable Development

Of the four required elective courses, three selections must be made from a list which includes:

**Enrollment in these courses is limited and may have enrollment restrictions or require the consent of instructor.

The remaining elective may be chosen from any courses offered at IR/PS.
