Why MPIA?
Pacific Region Specialists in 2 Years
The Master of Pacific International Affairs (MPIA) is a two-year, full-time professional degree program. The curriculum focuses on the professional’s need to have a comprehensive worldview and students in this program specialize in business, politics, economics, and public policies in the Pacific region.
Our outstanding internship and Career Services programs open opportunities around the world. IR/PS MPIA graduates assume senior policy positions in the public and nonprofit sectors as well as in non-governmental organizations and private companies. In addition to core classes, students in the MPIA program select one career track and one regional specialization: China, Korea, Japan, Latin America, or Southeast Asia. Language acquisition is a key element within the curriculum.
