Lecture by Dr. Sunghwan Shin, Professor of Finance, Hongik University and IR/PS Visiting Scholar on "Bond Market Development in Korea - Implications on the Current Financial Crisis". He discussed the rapid change that Korea has been undergoing in its financial sector, as well as its implications given the deepening global financial crisis.

He addressed questions that the Obama administration had to face: What is America’s standing in Asia? What are the major challenges America faces in Korea and appropriate strategies for Japan? What is the longer-term impact of the Olympics for U.S.-China relations?
