Getting Started

1. Request an account

  • Email your name, the IR/PS department or student group you will be editing web pages for, and the email address you will use to irps-web@ucsd.edu. The Communications Coordinator will reply with your PWP web editor username.

2. Log in to the PWP editor

  • Using the Firefox web browser, go to http://pwp-irps.ucsd.edu.
    (PC users can find find Firefox on IR/PS machines under Programs, Mozilla Firefox. Outside of IR/PS, visit the Mozilla website to download the free browser software.)

  • Enter the username provided by the Communications Coordinator.

    If you do not know your password or have a new account, click the "Forgot your password?" link. An email with a password reset link will be sent to the address listed on your account. If you do not receive a system message email after clicking "Forgot your pasword?," contact irps-web@ucsd.edu.
