Call for Papers The Journal of Environment & Development welcomes original research contributions, policy analyses, and book reviews on all subject matters at the crossroads of environment and development, as well as occasional reports on important international conferences. We are currently particularly interested in submissions that relate to the following subjects:
Submission policy: Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Environment & Development should keep the journal's broad interdisciplinary audience in mind and articles should be written in an accessible style. The JED will consider original manuscripts not previously published or currently under consideration elsewhere. Contributions presented at conferences and workshops are welcome, as long as they are not published in the same form in conference proceedings or on the Internet. The JED publishes articles under the following categories: research articles, policy analyses, regional & conference reports and book reviews. Manuscripts have to meet minimum JED standards in terms of topical fit, analytical rigor, and clarity of writing before being forwarded to external peer review. See detailed submission guidelines. For further inquiries contact us at envdev@ucsd.edu. Special Issues: JED is looking for partners and financial contributions for producing occasional special issues. For suggestions for special issues contact the Editor-in-Chief. Recent Special Issues: March 2005 (Volume 14, Number 1): Drivers of Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Beyond the Environmental Kuznets Curve. This issue combines a series of studies that were commissioned by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. December 2003 (Volume 12, Number 4): The Politics of Water in Mexico, produced in collaboration with the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies at the University of California, San Diego. --- Published by SAGE Publications Inc.
